Hexagon Wooden Soap Dish
Hand made in Ancaster, these Western Red Cedar soap decks have a unique hexagon shape. The soap dishes are treated with Tung oil to protect and promote the longevity of your dish.
Size: 4" wide, 1" thick
Care: When dish has soap build up, hold under running water and scrub with an old toothbrush. If you find the colour needs some sprucing up, you can apply tung oil. After washing, set the dish aside for a day or two to make sure it is dry, apply the tung oil, wipe off any extra oil, and let sit for a few days so oil can soak in and dry.
There can be a little residue from the tung oil used as well as the woods natural oils. 99% of the time it can be simply wiped away with no staining at all, EXCEPT when it comes to marble countertops. We don’t recommend putting a wet wooden dish down on a marble countertop, the residue gets down into the porous marble and it’s very hard to get out.
